US President Donald Trump said that current immigration policies have "wasted the gains of technological progress" and contributed to "weakening the living conditions for many," announcing his intention to implement radical changes to the US immigration system.
Trump explained in a post on his "Truth Social" account that he would make a decision to "permanently stop immigration from Third World countries" until "the American system fully recovers," in addition to "ending all illegal entries approved by the Biden administration in the millions," including those he claimed occurred through the former President’s "autopen device."

He added that he would initiate the "deportation of everyone who does not constitute a net value to the United States or cannot love the country," confirming his intention to "end all federal benefits and aid for non-citizens." He also vowed to "revoke the citizenship of those who undermine internal tranquility," and "deport any alien who constitutes a public charge, a security risk, or is not aligned with Western civilization."
these measures are aimed at "a significant reduction in the numbers of illegal and destabilizing immigrants," including those who entered the country "with illegal autopen approvals," pointing out that "reverse immigration alone is capable of completely curing the situation."

Trump concluded his statement by offering a Thanksgiving greeting, excluding those he described as "those who hate, steal, kill, and destroy everything America stands for," asserting that they "will not be here long."
Trump's administration previously announced the start of a comprehensive and strict, full-scale re-examination process for all Green Card holders for any alien from any country of concern, a list that included about 19 countries.
This means that legal immigrants currently present in the United States are subject to deportation and revocation of their legal status.
